Jennifer Gowers fell in love with event planning during her Freshman year at Auburn University. Once she was introduced to the campus organization that specialized in event planning, she was hooked. While earning her degree in Marketing, she became the Special Events Director and Major Entertainment Director of the University Program Council at Auburn.

Upon completion of her degree at Auburn, Jennifer took a position with Red Mountain Entertainment at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater as the Backstage Catering Coordinator. Red Mountain Entertainment is responsible for festivals such as City Stages, Bayfest, and Jubliee Fest. To this day, Jennifer works with several local and regional festivals. In 2001, she signed on to work with WorkPlay. The experience that she gained there was invaluable and she launched GoPro Event Solutions in 2007.
In the last five years, the team at GoPro has grown to include four additional members and the beautiful venues, Matt Jones Gallery, Avon Theatre and LINCPoint. Jennifer and her team aren’t limited to those venues and can
work with any vendor. It is totally up to the client. No matter the size of the organization, GoPro has a plan that can fit. If you want to put them on yearly retainer or just need help once, GoPro can take care of it.
Pathways
No matter how busy they are, GoPro finds time to support several local charities including the Children’s Hospital, Parkinson’s Association and Pathways. They just participated in the Shake, Rattle and Roll event to support the Parkinson’s Association and the Canvas for Children’s Event for Children’s Hospital.
